Crossed Roller Bearing:
Crossed taper bearings consist of one outer ring, a two-piece inner ring, tapered rollers and separators. The bearings can accommodate axial and radial loads as well as the tilting moment. Due to their special internal geometry, both frictional loss and heat generation are low. Typical applications include machining center tables, drilling and milling machines, as well as welding equipment and radar aerials (all of which are applications where very high rigidity and accuracy are required). |
